OUSAOP serves Athens, Meigs, and Perry Counties in Southeast Ohio. Our mission is to create a safe community where victims and survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, stalking, and dating and domestic violence are thoroughly respected and supported. We work to empower the community through confidential advocacy, education, and resources.
OUSAOP is supported by the Ohio University Women's Center, whose mission is to act as a catalyst to promote awareness, education, and advocacy about women, gender, and diversity amongst students, faculty, and staff at Ohio University and beyond. OUSAOP is funded by a grant awarded by the Office of Victim of Crime Act in the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Federal victims of crime will be served by OUSAOP services.
